"You got me back in gear..."
I played nines holes today and totally relaxed through the swing like you said (and took practice shots away from the tee box, pictured where I wanted the ball to go, "cuddled" the club on downhill shots and tried hard to ignore the ball), and hit the very absolute best drives and fairway shots EVER!! Got to almost all the greens in three.
Got into trouble once (found myself on a hilly area outside the fairway on the second hole of the front 9 and sang "We don't need to be a hero" to the tune of Tina Turner's "We Don't Need Another Hero"), and got back onto the fairway and into good position. Scored one 8 and one 7 for a final of 55. It was the best game of my life, even though I played around and experimented with different clubs on short shots at a couple of the holes (might have birdied instead of bogied otherwise).
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! Can't wait to go back out again. I owe this all to you.
In Memory Of My Mom
She was the first to introduce me to the game of golf. But it was not just playing golf for me. It grew into a love for the game and generated the passion to teach it.
I am so fortunate to be making a living doing what I love. This is the lasting gift my mother gave to me. My life has been enriched beyond measure by my mom.
