Mini Wie is back in action - driving, chipping, and putting. My coach, Kim Hilbert, has taught me for three years. This summer I got serious with golf, but I didn't have as much time to play as I wanted. So now that school has started I come to Ables after school to keep my golfing strong. I am still trying to improve my skills.
Take my advice, it will make you become better. You can never be perfect, because there's always something to improve!
Today my teacher, Kim Hilbert, let me golf with a high school girls' practice team. There were 6 people, including me. First we just practiced with our 9 irons. Then we did some putt-putt. I sank the 7th hole! When everyone was done, we all had a snack. Then I got to play the hole behind the driving range. I got a 6, then a bogey.
By the time we got back my mom was there. I think it was a great experience to golf with them because golfing with better players than yourself makes you work harder and that's what makes you a better player!
